1. General information

This Privacy Policy reflects the commitment of the University of Alcalá (UAH) with the correct use of personal data and respect for the fundamental rights and values ​​of every democratic society. The University of Alcalá is responsible for all the processing of personal data that is produced in and by the institution itself. Through its Privacy Policy the University of Alcalá informs the users of the website www.uah.es, as well as the members of the university community, that the personal data to which the University has access will be treated and incorporated into its different information management systems and are subject to current regulations regarding personal data protection. The Delegate of Protection of Personal Data of the University (DPO) is Professor Ms. Mónica Arenas Ramiro and will be in charge of informing, advising and supervising the activity of the University regarding the data processing that is carried out in it. The UAH, or, where appropriate, the entity that works on behalf of it, will implement the necessary security measures to verify the identity of the user. But, in the event that the person who communicates the data is different from the one that will be declared as a user, it will be understood that he has the express consent of the user for it and that he grants us his authorization to perform the corresponding treatment. The user will be solely responsible for any direct or indirect damage or harm that could be caused to any person due to the communication to the University of false, inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data. Likewise, it is informed that the images of the members of the university community that appear on any of the University’s websites, or dependent on it, have been treated with total respect to the current data protection regulations, as well as to LO 1/1982, Protection of the Right to Honor, personal and family privacy and own image. For this reason, UAH does not authorize any user to reproduce, distribute and communicate the photographic and videographic images found on a University website. The UAH is exempt from any responsibility for breach of this requirement. It is possible that some of the processing activities carried out involve an international transfer of personal data to a country located outside the European Economic Area, for which the mandatory express consent of the owner of the data will be required in the corresponding form or document for collecting data. Beyond these uses, personal data processed by the University of Alcalá will not be communicated to third parties outside our institution except in the cases established by law. The data will only be transferred in those cases that are expressly informed to the owner of the data and legally proceed.

5. Conservation of personal data processed
